Inspiration - Time for self care
It's November. This year continues to be one of emotional upheaval and change.
For the past while, I have been contemplating about where I am in my life and what brings joy, personally and professionally. As a creative woman in her 70's, it's constantly evolving. Through it all, my passion for creating jewelry remains constant. What keeps evolving is how much I want it to be part of my life.
I’m just back from a European river cruise that I hoped would be the pause needed to feel invigorated, but I learned that I need to practice more self-care.
Since before Covid, there's been a lot on my plate besides my jewelry business and with my mother's recent passing, and the loss of a dear friend just a few days ago, I have reached a point of complete exhaustion. Creating jewelry has always been so special and important to me and connecting with women like you has been so fulfilling.
After a great deal of thought these past few weeks, I have decided to put my jewelry business on pause. I plan to enjoy my time away in Florida for the season until my return in mid April. I’ll assess the situation in the Spring and see where it lands.
I have so appreciated your support. It has meant a lot to me and I cherish your encouragement and positivity. It has been what kept me going for so long. It's time that I step back for now.
Thanks for your understanding.
